Spa-Quality Results at Home

Professional microdermabrasion devices and pore cleansing tools developed by licensed medical aesthetician Maxine Dean — the same equipment used at MaxAesthetics Medical Spa.

The Science

Why Professional Beauty Tools Make a Difference

The most effective skincare routines combine topical products with mechanical exfoliation and deep pore cleansing. Professional beauty tools — microdermabrasion devices, pore cleansers, and exfoliating scrub masks — remove the physical barrier of dead skin cells and sebum plugs that prevent active ingredients from penetrating effectively.

Maxine Dean selected and developed these tools based on the equipment used in her medical spa practice. Each device and kit is designed for safe, effective home use — delivering results that previously required a professional appointment. Used weekly alongside the skincare collection, they accelerate every treatment goal: clearer pores, smoother texture, and better product absorption.

How Tools Help

How Professional Tools Enhance Your Skincare

Microdermabrasion

Mechanical exfoliation that removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells, stimulates collagen production, reduces the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores, and dramatically improves the absorption of serums and moisturizers applied afterward.

Pore Suction Technology

Vacuum-based extraction that removes blackheads, sebum plugs, and debris from deep within pores — the same technology used in professional facials. Reduces pore appearance and prevents the buildup that leads to breakouts.

Enzymatic Exfoliation

Fruit enzymes (papain, bromelain) dissolve the protein bonds holding dead skin cells together without physical abrasion — ideal for sensitive skin or as a gentler alternative to mechanical exfoliation.

Kaolin & Bentonite Clay

Natural clays used in scrub masks that physically lift and absorb impurities, excess sebum, and environmental pollutants from pores. Leaves skin visibly cleaner and pores appearing smaller after each use.

How to Use

The Medical Aesthetician's At-Home Facial Protocol

01Cleanse

Enzyme Facial Cleanser or Hyaluronic Cleanser

Start with clean, dry skin. Remove all makeup and SPF before using any device or exfoliating treatment.

02Steam (optional)

Warm towel or facial steamer

2–3 minutes of steam softens sebum plugs and opens pores, making pore extraction significantly more effective.

03Exfoliate or Extract

Microdermabrasion Pore Cleaner or Microdermabrasion Scrub Mask

Use the device on low intensity first. Move in upward strokes, spending no more than 3 seconds on each area. Or apply the scrub mask and leave for 10 minutes.

04Treat

Acne Clear Serum or Vitamin C Serum

Apply your treatment serum immediately after exfoliation — freshly exfoliated skin absorbs actives up to 40% more effectively.

05Moisturize

Retinol Moisturizer or Wrinkle Smoothing Cream

Lock in the serum and support skin recovery with a nourishing moisturizer. Avoid retinol on the same night as mechanical exfoliation.

06Protect (next morning)

UVB SPF 45 Sunscreen

Freshly exfoliated skin is more photosensitive. SPF the morning after any exfoliation treatment is essential.
